The service

mainline. is a game of dots and boxes operated by Kire Labs at mainline.build. You can play locally and complete the daily puzzle without an account; signing in with Google unlocks streaks, leaderboards, friends, and saved progress across devices. The core game is free to play.

Who can use it

You must be old enough to use the service in your country (at least 13, or the minimum age of digital consent where you live). If you sign in, you’re responsible for activity on your account.

Fair play

Because leaderboards and multiplayer only work if people play straight, you agree not to:

• ·cheat, exploit bugs, or manipulate scores, streaks, ranks, or campaign progress;
• ·use bots or automated tools to access the game or its APIs;
• ·abuse, harass, or spam other players in rooms or chat, or send unlawful content;
• ·disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or attempt to break the service.

We may remove content, reset dishonest scores, or suspend accounts that break these rules.

Content you send

You’re responsible for the handle you choose and the messages and reactions you send. Keep them lawful and civil; we filter and may remove handles or messages that aren’t. You keep ownership of what you write, and grant us the limited right to display it within the game so others in your room can see it.

Purchases

The core game is free. Our mobile app offers optional in-app purchases: Fare packs, the Streak Freeze, the Season Ticket, and the Supporter unlock. On Android these are sold and processed by Google Play (Google LLC) as the merchant of record. Google handles the checkout, payment, receipts, and any applicable taxes, and the price shown at purchase is what you pay. Anything you buy is a digital licence tied to your account: non-transferable, no cash value, and not exchangeable for money. Nothing that affects the ranked daily leaderboard or weekly ranks is ever sold. See our Refund Policy for cancellation and refund rights.

Availability & changes

We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the game, and we may update these terms as the product evolves. If a change is significant we’ll make reasonable efforts to flag it. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

No warranty

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. We don’t promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost progress, scores, or data. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law, and your statutory consumer rights are not affected.

Ending your access

You can stop using the service at any time and ask us to delete your account (see the Privacy page). We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales, and disputes are subject to its courts — without taking away any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live.
